The production limit of the BMW HP4 Race reached 750 units throughout the worldwide market. The bicycle production remains limited to 750 numbered units through handcrafted construction by specialized staff that transforms them into exclusive racing assets.
This motorcycle uses a complete carbon fiber monocoque frame which marks its place as the first carbon fiber frame model to enter mass production for motorcycles. This superbike has minimal weight at 7.8 kg while providing railroad levels of flexibility and rigidity to ensure exceptional handling on the racing track.
HP4 Race provides racing electronics with 15-level Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Engine Brake Regulation (EBR), Wheelie Control, Launch Control and Pit Lane Limiter capabilities. Users have access to a performance analysis system with telemetry functions through the 2D data logger dashboard
The bike incorporates Öhlins FGR 300 forks alongside TTX 36 GP rear shock units which also serve in Superbike World Championship and MotoGP vehicles.
The HP4 Race exists for racing events only. The HP4 Race does not utilize basic equipment like indicators and headlights as well as necessary functions for emissions control and mirrors. The HP4 Race places its main focus on competition-specific design along with lightweight structure.
The BMW HP4 Race reaches manufacturing horsepower levels of 215 resulting in its position as one of the most powerful track motorcycles BMW has ever created.
